Bryan Ferry at Wine & Music Valley....

Peso da Régua, September, 14. Photo: José Carmo

The last show of the 2019 World Tour. Never saw this gentleman in such a good mood during a concert. Maybe the atmosphere, the full moon, and some excellent Douro wine contributed to a great evening.

Best in show: "Take a chance with me"....and all the rest.

Bryan Ferry at DR Koncertsalen....

Copenhagen, Koncerthuset, May 13, 2016

One day this gentleman will be missed....until then, his music is still as good as ever; clever, melodic, intricate, and always with a touch of elegance and distance. Best in show: "Avonmore", "Virginia Plain", "Jealous Guy", "Oh Yeah", "Take a Chance with Me"....and all the rest.

See you soon again Mr. Ferry & Co...!

Bryan Ferry Live 2015....

Recorded during the 2015 Avonmore Tour....and actually - BF first solo live album (!). A precious CD loaded with pearls.

Jorja Chalmers handles the instrument with perfection in Tara, and Fonzi shines through the whole evening (he is truly a showman).
Pity such a boring audience with a total lack of energy.

See you again in Copenhagen....

Bryan Ferry at Usher Hall....

Edinburgh, May, 24

Another memorable concert with this gentleman. A good blend of Roxy Music, Ferry, and, of course, the "Dylanesque" songs. As usual, Ferry is supported by great musicians and the singing section with Fonzi Thornton in the front....is always special. The songs were performed as a "too short" version (pity !). Usher Hall was, by the way, a very pleasant place :)

Best in show: "Take A Chance With Me"....and all the rest.

Avonmore....

Just for the sake of track six....worth every penny. A bit like riding a horse above the clouds. See you in May at Usher Hall....

Bryan Ferry at Lisebergshallen....

Göteborg, Lisebergshallen, October, 28 (photo: GP)

Think about a concept that worked in 1974....and still functions forty years later ! The elegant dandy with the seducing voice, still sings with the same charisma and feeling. Magical-rhythmical candy for our senses, and yesterday nothing of that was changed. One and a half hours of music was, by the way, a bit short for the money.

Paul Beard - keyboards
Guy Pratt - bass
Jorja Chalmers - sax
Cherisse Osei - drums
Jacob Quistgaard - guitarr
Steve Jones - guitar
Bobbie Gordon - backing vocals
Jodie Scantlebury - backing vocals
Fonzi Thornton - backing vocals

Best in show:
"Oh Yeah" (such a great song), "Kiss and Tell", "Take a chance with me", "More than this", "Slave to love", "Virginia Plain", "Jealous Guy", "Avalon"....and all the rest !!

Bryan Ferry at Liseberg....

Liseberg, May 27, 2011

The last time I saw Bryan Ferry was on Mars 1977 at Scandinavium ....thirty-four years later, he started the concert on a low gear, but very soon we reached greater heights through his unique melodic ability. The band (?)....just excellent !

Best in show ....the whole show, "Slave to Love", "Avalon",
"All Along the Watchtower" ....and all the rest !

Welcome back soon Mr. Ferry !
