The intersection with Husargatan in a time of occupations, demolitions and new constructions. The entire Haga district was once close to being demolished. By the beginning of the 1980s, gentrification of the district had begun.

The art of "killing" a street....

..by placing the "backside" of the houses towards the street. Here is a good example from the 1980's at Skolgatan, Göteborg. Very efficient indeed...:-(

At Haga Nygata 13, and there since 1994. One of my favorite shops in Göteborg. Simply magical....and a place to "dream away".
