The Doors European Tour 1968....

The concert in Copenhagen was a musical uninspired experience, even considering the bad quality of the sound. Three days later, the band performed in Stockholm, Sweden....and that is about the absolutely best live performance I have ever heard from The Doors. Amazing....what daily form and inspiration can do for an artist.

Black crust....

..was a common view in the cities of Europe due to the combustion of fossil fuels. Today, the air quality is so much better that buildings and statues covered with a black crust are a rarity.
