Mauritz Kaffe....

I've been a costumer here since the late 70`s, and have never been disappointed. Mauritz was for many years one of the few places where one could enjoy good coffee - then came a stilted "coffee culture" with a bunch of fancy names.
Unfortunately, it appears that Mauritz must move away in the near future, because of a hefty rent increase. So if you are passing Fredsgatan 2 ... go in and order a "Tvåa med rågbröd" (double espresso and a round bread with Grevé cheese), listen to the music, and enjoy this unique environment. Believe me....it's worth every minute.

Clarion Hotel Post, Göteborg Now the results are clearly visible and the old post office in Gothenburg has been raped by this misplaced tower. Is this a decision of lobotomised politicians....or incompetent urban planners ? The old Post Office was an architectural unit...!
